Introduction


The SemanticHacker API was created to unlock the power of Semantic Signatures® for public use. To enhance using our API we've also provided a Match Server and Example Tools to help understand the power of our signatures. We've provided the documentation for all of these in this area.

To utilize the API, you'll need to sign up and review the API request and response reference.

Whereas the API returns a signature from a request, the Match Server runs as a server to provide methods for matching Semantic Signatures®. For example, a match server is used to find relevant Wikipedia pages for the demo on our front page and for our Wikipedia extension.

Example Tools are provided to aid in accessing the API and using the resulting signatures. The tools provided perform the following services:
